The "Liberty Cycle" team is pleased to introduce you to the Dordogne Valley Greenway: a route completely free from car traffic, along the Dordogne River on the old railway line (entirely paved). Discover the charming villages typical of the Périgord Noir region (notably the village of Aillac, with its narrow streets and church, a 17th-century gem).
Visit the "Gare Doisneau" (Doisneau Station), its delightful cafeteria, and its unique exhibition! Explore the medieval castles of Fénelon, the setting for numerous films, and Carlux. In the summer, enjoy the picnic and swimming areas available.
Why not take the secondary route to the listed villages of Castelnaud-la-Chapelle, Beynac-et-Cazenac, and Domme? This fully signposted route follows only small country roads. You'll have the opportunity to discover the small village of Montfort, with its impregnable citadel, as well as Vitrac and its typical town center.Rental specialist.

Great experience using Liberty Cycle. I hired a gravel bike which helped me explore all of Périgord over 4 days. The store is at the start of the Voie Vert which is a really safe route for all abilities. Staff were really helpful with set up and the bike plus all equipment (helmet, lock, etc) were top quality. Would recommend for anyone looking to explore or just to get a bike for getting round Sarlat.

Highly recommend this bike rental facility. There was a wide variety of bikes to choose form and the two road bikes we selected were in good working condition. They also provided routes to choose from which made it very easy to navigate the day. The staff were friendly and helpful and spoke very good English and tolerated our meager attempts to communicate in French! Liberty Cycle gave us a wonderful day in the Dordogne Valley.

Great location at the end of a stunning cycle path... very friendly staff and really helped when the chain broke on one of the four bikes we hired. Brought a new bike to our location and quickly set it up. We'll be back!
